Since the middle of August, sea exports of Russian coal have practically stopped.
According to Bloomberg , this was caused by the fifth package of sanctions of the European Union, which, in particular, provides for a ban on serving the coal supplies of the aggressor country anywhere in the world.
Insurance companies, the largest of which are firms from the EU, Great Britain and Switzerland, have stopped insuring ships with Russian coal, as a result of which bulk carriers cannot go to sea.
Because of this, for example, the largest Russian coal mining company JSC SUEK cannot find suppliers for energy resources.
Russian business has begun to rebuild other ways of delivering coal, mainly to Asian countries, but this will take a long time, and it will also lead to an increase in the price of Russian coal exports.

For years the Kremlin dogs have been barking that sanctions are hurting other countries more than ruzzia but now, finally, those countries are finding alternative sources and other places to earn money. No matter how many people Putin kills his time is coming because I don’t think the oligarchs will tolerate this once Russians find out their tiny hero brought sanctions to them AND he lost in tiny Ukraine.
