The Russian occupiers are officially introducing military censorship in the temporarily occupied territories of the Zaporozhye region .

This was reported by the mayor of Melitopol Ivan Fedorov.

“The occupiers are officially introducing military censorship in the temporarily occupied territories. Residents have been deprived of freedom of communication and access to truthful information. From today, a mobile phone of a resident of each occupied settlement of the Zaporozhye region can be checked,” he said.

According to Fedorov, the invaders will check on the phone with whom a person communicates, what he watches on the Internet.

“And if they find a subscription to Ukrainian telegram channels there, they will be fined or even thrown “to the basement.” So that later they can once again show in propaganda publics how they “neutralized a dangerous terrorist.” Therefore, I appeal to the indestructible Melitopol residents with a request – be careful. is the main value of our Ukrainian Melitopol,” the mayor stressed.

War in Ukraine: the situation in Melitopol

Russia seized part of the Zaporozhye region in February-March 2022, after which it appointed a puppet “authority” among local traitors. The city of Melitopol, Zaporozhye region, has been under Russian occupation since February 26. More than half of the inhabitants left the city  .

However, Ukrainian partisans are actively working in Melitopol. In particular, in the summer, the mayor of the city, Ivan Fedorov, reported the removal of more than 100 Russians  by the partisan movement  in cooperation with special services.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian military regularly strike  at the places where the occupiers gather.  and ammunition depots in Melitopol and other occupied settlements of the Zaporozhye region.
