Russia’s illegal war against Ukraine turns into a threat to Western countries through North Korea.
Nuclear and missile technologies , which Russia transfers to North Korea in exchange for receiving weapons and North Korean troops, can threaten Europe and the United States.
As UNIAN correspondent reports, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said this at a press conference following the two-day meeting of the head of foreign affairs of the Alliance member countries in Brussels.
“Russia provides North Korea with support for its missile and nuclear programs in exchange for troops and weapons. Such a development could destabilize the Korean Peninsula and even threaten the United States. Therefore, Russia’s illegal war in Ukraine threatens us all,” Rutte said.
For this reason, as Rütte emphasized, Europe and North America must continue to act in unity on the side of international partners to ensure the security of “our one billion people”.
As the Secretary General of the Alliance emphasized, one should not be naive, because there are every reason to believe that nuclear and missile technologies are reaching North Korea, and now there is a risk that the DPRK will use them. This could pose a threat not only to Europe, the US mainland, but also to the neighboring region, including South Korea and Japan.

It would be nice if NATO, the US or Europe reminded mafia land that they also have nukes. Perhaps a demonstration on US TV showing how quickly mafia land could be destroyed, would help.
