What is known about the possible relocation of the fleet headquarters from Sevastopol?
Russia is preparing to relocate the Black Sea Fleet command from Sevastopol. Officers are already moving their families to Novorossiysk without waiting for an official order, according to the Atesh reconnaissance group.
Command staff flees Crimea
Sources within the Atesh movement in the Russian Black Sea Fleet report that the command is considering plans to relocate the remaining command structures from occupied Sevastopol to Novorossiysk.
Some officers are already acting on their own, relocating their families, disposing of property they cannot take with them, and settling into their new location.
What Atesh says
“Since then, strikes on the peninsula have only intensified, and the logistical situation for the Russians in Crimea has drastically worsened,” the report states.
According to Atesh, morale within the fleet’s leadership is also low. Some understand what is happening on the peninsula and do not intend to delay.
Atesh notes that the relocation of command structures is a direct consequence of constant strikes on the fleet’s infrastructure in Crimea.
“Maintaining command structures on the peninsula is becoming an increasingly expensive and risky decision for the Russians. Judging by how the situation is developing, the coming months may be the hardest for Russian forces in Crimea since the start of the war,” the movement writes.
On May 27, the Ukrainian Defense Forces launched a strike with Storm Shadow missiles against Russian aviation hardware and software complexes in Sevastopol. According to Atesh, the Black Sea Fleet’s aviation headquarters was hit at that time.
On the night of June 13, Ukrainian drones struck Crimean Titan, the largest titanium dioxide production plant in Eastern Europe. The facility in the occupied territory has temporarily suspended operations.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces also carried out strikes on bridges leading to Crimea. The Russians acknowledged the new attacks but are trying to downplay their impact.

Why not? Their ships are already hiding in Novorossiysk.

ATESH is like a root system, with its roots and root hairs probing everywhere for water and nutrients … or rather, information and targets to sabotage.

Novorossiysk isn’t exactly a safe haven for what is left of the BSF. Maybe the rats are leaving a sinking ship before it’s too late.
They know that, so they probably say Novorossiysk, but really mean further inland. 😄
I kinda hoped they would stay and drop dead at the sight of drones climbing up their asses.
