Russian Mi-8 helicopter flew into Estonian airspace for several minutes

On the afternoon of September 7, a russian Mi-8 helicopter violated Estonian airspace, staying over the area of Vaindloo Island for about four minutes.

ERR reported this with reference to the press service of the General Staff of the Estonian Defense Forces.

The agency noted that the helicopter did not have a clear flight plan and violated the border without warning. The incident was brief, but it is regarded as a serious violation of international safety rules in the country’s airspace.

After the incident, the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs handed a note of protest to the charge d’affaires of the russian embassy. This is the third case of violation of Estonian airspace since the beginning of the year.

Recall that Estonia supports Ukraine’s membership in NATO and considers it the best guarantee of security from the aggressor country russia.

  1. Allies need to start shooting ruzzian junk down. Only thing they understand is force. Marshmallow reactions only invite more incursions and violence.

  2. “After the incident, the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs handed a note of protest to the charge d’affaires of the russian embassy. ”

An air defence missile up its arse would have the desired effect.
