Russian mercenaries fired on an OSCE drone / photo from UNIAN
In the zone of the Joint Forces Operation , Russian armed formations fired small arms at an OSCE drone.
This is reported by the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine (SMM) in the daily report No. 9/2022, which was published on January 15.
“While on the eastern outskirts of Vasylivka (non-government-controlled, 20km north of Donetsk) and operating a short-range unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), which was reported in advance, the SMM heard 14 small-arms fire at approximately 100 200 m to the southwest. It is estimated that the fire was fired in the direction of the UAV,” the report says.
During this flight, the UAV was also affected by GPS signal interference (estimated due to possible jamming).
The OSCE Mission team landed the UAV and left the area.
