Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu has finally been fired by Putin and replaced by a man with no military experience, Andrey Belousov. Russia’s new offensive into the Kharkiv region is finishing its first week and Russia’s casualty rate has been astronomical as there is fierce fighting for small villages. My birthday fundraiser has 10x exceeded all expectations and over $500,000 has been fundraised in the last four days!

Fantastic work by Jake to raise nearly $500,000 for the Ukrainian cause.
You can say that loud, F1! Damn impressive what one single guy, dedicated to the good cause, managed to accomplish! Applause! 👏👏👏
As opposed to one single guy in the WH hampering Ukraine at every turn.
Sadly, it’s not just one single guy, but a whole group of aparatchiks like Jake Sullivan, whose views of Russia is decades behind the curve. Or else Biden may be convinced that there needs to be a more hardline approach towards Putin. 😠
As our friend Foccusser correctly pointed out yesterday, US red tape prevented hard strikes against the buildup of Russian troops north of Kharkiv, a report by Politico confirms:
“Ukraine presses Biden to lift ban on using US weapons to strike Russia”

Time and again, unreasonable restraint by Nato hinders the defence and increases Ukrainian losses. It’s high time for a paradigm shift, the double standards imposed on Ukraine, benefitting effing RuSSia, need to be eliminated! No more fighting with the hand bound on the back! 😠
I just posted (in a comment) a pointer to a Kyiv Independent article in which U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated, “We’ve not enabled or encouraged strikes outside of Ukraine, but ultimately, Ukraine has to make decisions for itself about how it’s going to conduct this war.”
That *sounds* like he’s saying it’s not verbotten.
