At the same time, the situation on the front is difficult: Russia is striving to achieve victory by completely capturing the Donetsk region, Romanenko said.

Ukraine is unlikely to be able to completely isolate temporarily occupied Crimea using drones alone , according to Lieutenant General Ihor Romanenko, founder of the “Close the Sky of Ukraine” Charitable Foundation and former Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“The process of isolation, causing significant damage to logistics support, has already begun. According to various estimates, it has already been reduced by 75%. They themselves have called this “Novorossiya” road the “road of death.” In fact, it’s almost never used during the day, certainly not by civilians. At night, isolated military cargo moves along it. Mobile groups are also assigned to ensure the security of these crossings, and troops are stationed along the road. They are looking for various methods of camouflage and electronic warfare equipment,” Romanenko said.
At the same time, he emphasized that the overall situation on the front is difficult. According to him, Russia is seeking to use its remaining time to achieve victory by completely capturing the Donetsk region.
“Putin understands that the window of opportunity for further military action is gradually closing. Therefore, he needs to demonstrate the results of this operation and save face. They are focusing primarily on the Donetsk region. The situation around Kostiantynivka is very difficult – they are trying to squeeze our units there. They are attacking north of Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad. They are attacking at a more secure position – Kramatorsk, Sloviansk. So they have something to show for it,” Romanenko added.
