Russian occupying forces captured the village of Arkhangelske, Donetsk region.

The situation at the front

During the day, 74 combat clashes with the enemy were recorded on the front line. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the evening briefing. Only in the Avdiyiv direction, the Ukrainian military repelled 18 attacks.

In addition, Ukrainian soldiers shot down a Russian Su-25 in the Donetsk region, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi said in the evening briefing. Defenders from the 110th separate mechanized brigade destroyed the plane. 

Mykola Volokhov, the commander of the Terra unit of the Third Separate Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, says that Russia is trying to “probe” the front. The Ukrainian military is preparing for the worst case scenario , namely, attempts by the Russians to repeat a mass attack on various front lines.
