A Russian helicopter crashed in the Kerch Strait. However, specific information about the type of helicopter is contradictory, as reports have changed several times.
At first, it was about the Ka-27, later about the Ka-52. This is what the propaganda Telegram channel FighterBomber writes about.
Fighterbomber initially reported that the crash involved a Ka-27 helicopter belonging to the Russian Naval Aviation. It was noted that the preliminary cause of the incident could have been a failure of the aircraft equipment.

However, the message was subsequently deleted, and a new post appeared in its place, which was about a crash involving a helicopter of a different model, the Ka-52.

This message also subsequently disappeared, and the channel published another message, which spoke of a “helicopter crash,” without specifying the specific type.

What is known about the Ka-27 and Ka-52 helicopters?
The Ka-27 is a Soviet multi-role shipborne helicopter designed for anti-submarine defense. It can be based on ships, detect underwater and surface targets, transmit data to shore points, and attack enemy targets using on-board attacks.
The Ka-52 is a Russian combat helicopter, a command vehicle for army aviation, performing reconnaissance of the area, target designation and coordination of the actions of a group of combat helicopters. The machine is capable of destroying armored and unarmored vehicles, manpower and air targets in the battlefield. The first flight prototype of the Ka-52 helicopter, which received the onboard number 061, was re-equipped by the beginning of November 1996 from a serial Ka-50.
As reported by, Russian propagandists announced the loss of a Su-34 fighter-bomber. According to preliminary data, the enemy aircraft was destroyed on the night of October 12.

Crashed or shot down? Certain Ukrainian naval drones carry air defense missiles.
But, even if it was “just” a crash, this means that either the chopper was junk, or the maintenance was junk, or the pilot was drunk.
