The explosion on the main gas pipeline occurred the day after the EU agreed on a price limit for Russian gas.

In Chuvashia, there was a large-scale fire on the main gas pipeline Urengoy – Pomary – Uzhgorod, Russian media reported.

According to the propaganda Mash , the gas pipeline, built in the early 1980s, delivers Russian fuel to Western Europe through Ukraine.

The gas pipeline crosses the Russian-Ukrainian border in the Sudzha GIS area in the Kursk region.

“Before the fire, work was carried out by the operating organization Zavolzhsky Linear Directorate of the main gas pipelines Gazprom Transgaz Nizhny Novgorod,” the press service of the head of Chuvashia said in a statement.
