Russian officials have reacted angrily to a T-shirt worn by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during his traditional evening video address on Oct. 23 with the message “make russia small again”.
The Russian Foreign Ministry responded sharply, calling the Ukrainian leader a “bloody jerk.”
“Small as what? The USSR? The Russian Empire?” the department’s spokesperson Maria Zakharova said on X.
“Oh, I got it! As the Kievan Rus. For that we need Kiev. You said it yourself, bloody jerk.”
Zelenskyy received the T-shirt from Ukrainian MP Hanna Hopko during a meeting with representatives of Ukrainian civil society, which took place on Oct. 23.
