Ukrainian serviceman Ivan Tymochko says that the Russian forces have been within 3-5 km of the border for three days
He said this on Espreso TV.
“It should be understood that the Russians did not succeed in a blitzkrieg in the Kharkiv region. Although the resources they attracted, the routes they laid out were mainly focused on infantry. The Russians relied on infiltrating deep into our territory and establishing themselves in order to bring up equipment. We can see that a lot of the equipment they had accumulated before the offensive was destroyed on Russian territory. Those Russian forces that managed to advance deeper into our territory did so by 3-5 kilometers. This is the third day that the Russians have been within these limits,” Tymochko said.
According to the head of the Reservists’ Council of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the battle for Vovchansk is still ongoing. Today Ukrainian soldiers destroyed Russian tanks near Vovchansk.
“That is, heavy equipment that the Russians are trying to use to support the infantry is being destroyed. At the moment, Russia is not able to organize any tank wedges. The fighting will continue in the same rhythm. That is, linear units will engage in counterattacks from both directions. The Russians will try to reinforce their units,” added Tymochko.
- As of 11:30 a.m., the Russian army has conducted 23 attacks on the Ukrainian troops’ positions in the east.
- Ukrainian Defense Ministry spokesman Dmytro Lazutkin confirmed that some Russian infantry groups have entered Vovchansk, Kharkiv region. The fighting continues.
More like a damp squib than a blitzkrieg.
Things could’ve been even worse for mafia land if certain spineless cowards would allow Ukraine to use their stuff on mafia land’s territory.
This newest phase of the war sheds a bad light on Ukraine’s Western allies, who categorically oppose any use of their weapons or ammo on mafia territory. This made it virtually impossible to smash roach military build-ups in mafia land, which had been identified weeks ago already. More Ukrainian blood is being spilled, continuously filling the West’s cauldron of fear.
I think the UK are the only country that give the green light to use their weapons on mafia land itself. I just don’t understand Biden’s logic. WTF could mafia land do about it? Except threaten to nuke all and sundry for the 10,000th time.
I’ve never understood the dusty old fart, and I’m sure that I never will.
There’s two possible reasons why this never became a Blitzkrieg:
a) The Russian army is less effective than the German Wehrmacht.
b) Ukrainian resistance is stronger than Polish and French one.
I guess, both apply, to some degree. 🤔
