The dynamics of Russian losses indicate a significant depletion of all types of military equipment in the aggressor.

Russian losses in combat equipment continue to decrease month after month. February was even more indicative in this regard. An OSINT researcher operating on the X platform under the pseudonym Cyrus published a fresh infographic of Russian losses in equipment recorded by the Oryx team. 

Since Russian troops are not reducing the pressure on the front, the decrease in losses in equipment may indicate a general technical exhaustion of the Russian army, the researcher believes. At the same time, Cyrus is skeptical about the explanation that Russia may be saving and accumulating equipment for some major offensive in the spring-summer.

“All these reductions in Russia’s losses and the appearance of donkeys and soldiers on crutches on the battlefield do not indicate a build-up of forces for a major counterattack,” he believes.

At the same time, Cyrus notes that Ukrainian losses do not show such a clear decline. On the contrary, some growth is even visible, indicating an increase in the amount of equipment in the Ukrainian Armed Forces, or its stable amount in conditions of increased intensity of fighting.

As UNIAN wrote, Russian occupiers have begun using “modernized” ATS-59G tractors at the front , which are a real rarity. The Russians can use them as substitutes for traditional transporters.

We also reported that  the Ukrainian Armed Forces cannot launch a large-scale counteroffensive now , but the Russian troops also do not have such an opportunity yet. This is what the commander of the special unit of the GUR “Artan-X” Andrey “Favorit” believes.
