Russian drone debris with explosives falls in Romania

The drone was found half a kilometer from the border with Moldova.

Fragments of a Russian drone with an explosive charge were found near the border with Moldova in Romania , the Ministry of National Defense reports .

According to the department, the area where the debris was found is located approximately 500 meters from the border with Moldova in a suburban area where there are no infrastructure elements.

“Based on the results of the examinations conducted by investigators, it was found that the fragments came from a Russian-made unmanned aerial vehicle,” the Defense Ministry noted.

It is noted that as a result of an expert inspection, an active warhead was discovered on board the aircraft, “which is subject to controlled detonation on site in order to eliminate any danger to the local population.”

It should be noted that every night the Russians attack Ukraine with attack drones. During the full-scale war of Russia in Ukraine, fragments of Russian drones have repeatedly fallen on the territory of Romania.
