Hundreds of supporters rallied in Moscow after a court excluded Yabloko from September’s parliamentary election. The demonstration was one of the most visible anti-war protests seen in Russia in recent months.
Yabloko, meaning “apple” in Russian, is one of the last legal Russian political parties openly calling for peace negotiations and opposing the war in Ukraine. Its exclusion from September’s parliamentary election is particularly striking because the party had already been approved to run.
Analysts say the move reflects the Kremlin’s growing unwillingness to tolerate even symbolic opposition ahead of the vote.

They may possibly have hacked into putler’s private polling ….
