Russian nationalist journalist and imperialist commentator Maksim Kalashnikov has issued a stark warning about Russia’s deteriorating economic situation, claiming that Moscow is approaching a state of emergency and may be unable to finance further military escalation. Trump is trying to rescue Moscow. He is proposing that Europe resume buying Russian energy as part of a deal to end the war. The EU has rejected this.
