The occupiers attacked the city with ballistic missiles, three people were injured.

In Odessa, Norwegian diplomats were at the epicenter of the missile strike that the Russian army launched on the historic center of the city on the evening of January 31, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said .

“Russian missile strike on Odessa, on the historical center of the city. Preliminary – ballistics. Absolutely deliberate strike by Russian terrorists. Fortunately, there were no casualties. There are victims, they were given assistance. Among the people who were at the epicenter of the strike, including Norwegian diplomatic representatives,” Zelensky emphasized.

According to him, all the circumstances of the strike are currently being clarified.

“We are doing everything to help people,” said the President of Ukraine.

According to the head of the Odessa Regional State Administration, Oleg Kiper, three people were injured in Odessa: two women and a young man born in 2006.

As a result of the explosions in the premises of a number of historical monuments, in particular the literary, historical and local history, archaeological museums and the museum of Western and Eastern art, as well as the Philharmonic, there are broken windows and damage to the facades.

The regional headquarters of the State Emergency Service added that one of the city’s hotels was hit, 23 rescuers were called in to eliminate the consequences. A woman who was locked in her room was rescued from the second floor of the hotel.

Psychologists of the State Emergency Service worked with local residents and hotel residents. A fire broke out on the roof, which was quickly extinguished.
