Russian attack on Kyiv: death toll rises till 5, including 12-year-old child, 10 missing.

Klitschko said that 5 people have already died in the capital from the Russian night attack.

Rescuers have recovered the body of a 12-year-old girl from the rubble of a house in the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv . Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported this on Telegram.

“Five dead in Kyiv. Search and rescue operation continues,” he wrote.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that five people were already known to have died in Kyiv as a result of a nighttime Russian attack. He noted that about 40 people were injured in the capital.

Zelenskyy notes that a search and rescue operation is underway in the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv – there may be more than 10 people under the rubble of the building, who are currently considered missing. According to him, all necessary services are also working in the Obolonskyi district of the capital.

The President noted that it was still possible to shoot down 93% of the missiles and drones with which the Russian Federation attacked Ukraine.

“There will be a fair response for all these attacks. And we need to put pressure on Moscow so that they feel the consequences of their terror there,” he stressed.
