I very much doubt that Ukraine will even try for the Kursk NPP. I think this is just the media trying to make a story out of nothing.
They’re just second-guessing the AFU general staff.
However, speaking of second-guessing, maybe there is a plan to do that. Maybe they will drive towards the NPP either directly or in a roundabout way. If it works, good, if not, they still gained ground, and they also threw every expert opinions and roach plans … out the window. All of them thought that it’s a matter of time to force Ukraine out of Kursk. Now, the Ukrainians are doing more than defend, they are on a counterattack.
Fact is, we just don’t know. Period.
Ukraine have said nothing, the only source is from russian milbloggers, which is hardly close to the truth. Yet even respected media organisations like the ISW are throwing out stories about Ukraine doing this or that. Until it comes from the lips of Budanov, Syrskyi or Zelensky, everything will be taken with a dose of salt.
I am glad that everyone is just clueless. The Ukrainians shine in keeping secret things secret.
