Russian amphibious aircraft and helicopters hit: Magyar on Ukrainian drone hunting

Ukrainian drones inflicted 55 fire hits on 23 military targets and facilities and the enemy’s operational depth.

The defense forces hit a number of important Russian targets, including on Russian territory itself. These include a Be-200 Altair amphibious aircraft and a helicopter.

This was stated by the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces (USF), Robert (Magyar) Brovdi. According to him, on the night of May 15, USF USF drones inflicted 55 fire hits on 23 military targets and facilities in the enemy’s operational depth.

These are strikes on Taganrog, Yeisk, the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine – Crimea, Donetsk, Zaporizhia and Luhansk regions, including Berdyansk and Melitopol.

Among the targets hit: a Be-200 amphibious aircraft and a KA-27 helicopter – in the settlement of Morskoy (Russia), a Tor-M2 anti-aircraft missile system – in Goncharovo in the Luhansk region, in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, and a Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile system in the settlement of Khutorok. A dry cargo ship carrying combat kits was also hit in occupied Berdyansk.

And in the settlement of Raihorodka, Luhansk region, a training center and a place where Russian personnel were concentrated were hit.

In total, according to Madyar, in two weeks of May, the SBS managed to destroy 17 elements of the Russian air defense (ADF). And during December-May, the SBS destroyed 153 units of Russian air defense: SAM – 108 units, radar complexes – 39, electronic warfare – 6 units, the military detailed.
