There are no signs that Russia is preparing for peace talks, the commander-in-chief believes
Russia plans to increase the production of Shahed drones in order to use them in quantities of up to 1,000 units daily. Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi said this in an interview with lb.ua.
Thus, when asked about the prospects for the end of the war this year, Syrsky said that he sees no signs of Russia preparing for peace talks. On the contrary, there is a noticeable increase in the intensity of hostilities, the number of offensive groups, and the volume of weapons production.
According to the commander-in-chief, Russia is currently producing about 400 Shahed drones of various types per day, and plans to increase production so that up to 1,000 of these drones can be used daily. Syrsky stressed that Ukraine must thwart these plans and “create conditions” for negotiations.
“Because no one will negotiate with the weak,” he emphasized.
The Commander-in-Chief also confirmed that Russia continues to receive significant assistance from its allies in the dictatorial camp.
“Everything related to electronics comes from China. The technologies are Chinese. The supply of ammunition and missiles comes from North Korea. And, of course, Iran. Therefore, the capabilities of the Russian economy remain high. We see that the pace of ammunition production, unfortunately, is not decreasing, but only increasing,” the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said.
