Russia remains to capture two villages near Avdeevka to enter the operational space.

BILD analyst Julian Röpke writes about this . According to him, at first the Ukrainian Armed Forces held defense there along the line Berdichie – Semyonovka – Orlovka – Tonenkoye. There are ponds and small rivers that are convenient to defend. Now the invaders have broken through this line everywhere except Berdichev and Semenovka. There are fierce battles for these settlements, but they are already partially controlled by Russia. The 47th mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is providing active resistance.

“If Semyonovka falls, it won’t be any easier for the Russians than before. But they won’t have populated areas in their way for a long time before Ukrainian resistance arises again in any houses, logistics points, etc.,” Röpke said.VIDEO OF THE DAYPlay Video

He notes that the Ukrainian village closest to the current front line is Umanskoye, 3 km to the west, Novopokrovskoye – 5 km. The empty territory to the east of them could become an operational space for the occupiers.
