Russian regions have been massively attacked by drones. The Russian Defense Ministry announced the alleged shooting down of 53 Ukrainian drones between 8:10 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. Of these, 34 were over Kursk Oblast, 14 over Belgorod Oblast, four over Bryansk Oblast, and one over Orel Oblast.

Separately, the Governor of the Belgorod Region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, reported the death of a civilian woman as a result of a drone hitting a private house.

In Kursk, private houses and garages caught fire as a result of a drone attack , and apartment buildings were hit , according to Russian MP Khinshtein. Preliminary reports indicate no injuries.

At least five explosions were heard in Ryazan , and a series of loud sounds in Rostov , which even prompted a ” drone alert” to be declared in the region. However, it later turned out that there was no real threat: two local “enthusiasts” simply detonated a large firecracker – and so the “alarm check” took place.

Explosions were also heard in Voronezh. Also in Kursk, 5 explosions were heard again.

Russian Telegram channels are reporting a massive drone attack on Lipetsk : in particular, Shot, Mash, and Baza are reporting more than 10 explosions in the sky over the city.

Explosions were heard by residents of the 9th microdistrict , and there are reports of aviation and air defense operations. Channels note that “plane”-type drones were shot down right over residential areas.

Local authorities in the Bryansk and Kursk regions also announced the work of air defense.

As of 00:52, it became known that in Kursk, as a result of a drone strike, the glazing and roof of three apartment buildings were damaged, and in one of them the elevator equipment was disabled. Residents were evacuated, and law enforcement officers are working on the site.

Recall, on June 1, Ukrainian drones attacked Siberia for the first time. The targets are a military unit in the village of Seredne (Usolsky district, Irkutsk region of the Russian Federation) and the Belaya airfield near the specified settlement. The fact of the shelling was confirmed in his Telegram channel by local governor Igor Kobzev. The FPV drones were launched from Russian territory, they flew from a truck. After the attack, a high alert mode was introduced in the Usolsky district.
