Russia wants to pressure Ukraine into surrender in a month: Dykyi told whether Moscow will succeed

Currently, Russia is throwing all its forces into battle at the front.

The Russian army has begun to run out of steam in recent weeks, military expert Yevgeny Dykyi said on Radio NV .

“There were fewer assault operations. And the success of assault operations was generally very low. And the price of each linear meter increased a lot. But politics. They had an order to squeeze out of Kurshchyna at any cost. After all, Russia is really considering the option of a freeze,” said Dyky.

He added that currently the Russians are satisfied with freezing the war only on the condition of Ukraine’s complete surrender. At the same time, Dykyi emphasized that Russia has never refused such an idea.

“They have such a powerful trump card as Donald Trump and his team. They are simply helping them in this pressure. They simply switched to their side. And in this situation, the Russian political leadership gave the order – first, to kick us out of the so-called canonical territory of Russia. So that when it comes to freezing, we cannot raise the question of at least a partial exchange of territories,” Dyky added.

The expert noted that he has support from the United States, Russia now needs to demonstrate military successes.

“And there have clearly been no military successes in recent months. And that is why now the order is being given – to throw everything that is left alive into battle. It is in the context of the negotiations that the Russians need to pretend that they still have all the initiative, that they still control the situation on the entire front. They have an order not to save on reserves. They even have a deadline. Trump threw them another ball by publicly announcing that the ceasefire should be by Easter. They want to pressure us into a ceasefire in a month, which is in fact our surrender,” Dykyi noted.
