Not sure whether this is good bad or indifferent. Still can’t figure out Erdogan whether he’s friend or foe. I do know the US sucks by not providing Ukraine military equipment sooner and in quantities needed to win. Sure give everyone else offensive equipment and not worry about Putin’s threats. Such bullshit.
I doubt Turkey will be getting any F16s from the US any time soon. The Turkish economy is down the pan, with inflation currently at 80%, it’s unlikely that Turkey could even buy one F16.
As I remember it the deal that was rejected was for the F-35s. And before that it was the Patriots which led the Turks to buy the S-400s.
The S-400s are so conspicuous by their absence in Ukraine. Obviously the orcs don’t want their junk to be humiliated like everything else they sent.
Ukraine needs those aircraft. It would not take Ukrainian pilots long to learn how to use them well.
