Russia has transferred to the DPRK the technology for producing Shahed-type strike drones.

This was stated by the head of the GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, reports Censor.NET with reference to Suspilne .

“This “shaheed” is like some kind of nomad. He moved from Iran to the Russian Federation, and now from the Russian Federation he has come to the DPRK under the name of a ” shaheed “. They work quickly, believe me, unfortunately… They are transferring technologies from the Russian Federation to the DPRK. They are not transferring “shaheeds”, but technologies, equipment, and so on. They are setting up production there,” Budanov said .

According to the head of the GUR, the Russian Federation has already transferred technology to Pyongyang for the production of attack drones.

Budanov noted that the production of “shaheeds” will lead to a deterioration of the security environment on the Korean Peninsula.

“Because the DPRK is currently significantly increasing its military power. First of all, through direct cooperation with the Russian Federation and through the acquisition of real combat experience by its soldiers. And this cannot but affect the security environment, because in the end, there is only one enemy for the DPRK. The real enemy is South Korea. There are no others. And they know this very well,” said the head of the GUR.

According to him, Russia has also transferred Pantsir-S1 installations to the DPRK and is training North Korean soldiers to use them.

“The first Pantsir-S1 installations have already appeared in Pyongyang. They are already on combat duty there, guarding their capital. And the Russians are retraining Korean personnel. Soon the Koreans will be able to work autonomously on this equipment,” Budanov said.
