The defense forces repel the invaders.

Over the past day, 81 combat clashes with Russian occupation troops took place at the front . The situation remains tense, but under control.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that 13 areas of concentration of personnel of the Russian Federation, seven air defense systems, an artillery unit and a radar station were damaged. The occupiers launched two missile and 45 airstrikes on the territory of Ukraine, and also carried out more than 2,900 shellings of military positions and populated areas. In addition, Russia used 486 kamikaze drones.

In the Kharkiv direction, the occupiers carried out four unsuccessful attacks in the Vovchansk and Hlyboky districts. The Ukrainian military continues to take measures there to strengthen defensive positions and borders.

Previous losses of the Russian Federation in this direction amounted to 64 dead and wounded occupiers. One tank, seven cars and five units of special equipment were destroyed. In addition, two tanks, an armored combat vehicle, three artillery systems and four cars were damaged. 15 dugouts and an enemy ammunition depot were also damaged.

In the Kupyansk direction, the invaders tried to dislodge our units from their occupied positions in the areas of Sinkivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Pishchane and Berestov settlements, but they did not succeed. 

In the Lyman direction, the number of clashes increased to 12. The Russian occupiers tried to advance in the areas of Druzhelyubivka, Nevsky, Terni, Torsky, Hryhorivka, and Serebryansky forest. Ukrainian fighters successfully repelled all attacks.

In the Seversky direction , the situation has not undergone significant changes. Four assault actions in the areas of Spirny, Ivano-Daryivka, and Verkhnyokamyansky ended in failure for the Russians.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the aggressor tried seven times to attack units of the Defense Forces in the districts of Noviy, Ivanovsky, Klishchiivka, and Andriivka. Six attempts to break through our lines were unsuccessful. The situation is tense, the battle continues in the Novy district.

The hottest situation remains in the Pokrovsky direction . The occupiers tried 21 times to break into battle formations near Yevgenivka, Novooleksandrivka, Novopokrovsky, Yasnobrodivka, Umansky, and Karlivka. 19 attacks were repulsed, two more clashes continue near Novooleksandrivka and Novopokrovsky.

“The defense forces are making maximum efforts to wear down and deter the Russian invaders. The previous losses of the aggressor in this direction amounted to 198 occupiers killed and wounded. An SU-25 aircraft, one tank, an armored combat vehicle, a cannon and four cars were destroyed,” the message says.

In the Kurakhiv region, the situation remains tense, the number of combat clashes has increased to 17. The invaders are trying to advance near the settlements of Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, Georgiivka, Kostyantynivka, and Paraskoviivka. 14 attacks were successfully repulsed by the Defense Forces, fighting continues in the Krasnohorivka area. 

In the Vremivsk direction, the invaders tried to advance near Vodyanyi and Staromayorskyi, but failed. Defense forces control the situation.

In the Orichivsk direction, the occupiers carried out one unsuccessful assault in the area of ​​the settlement of Kopani, and in  the Pridniprovsk SSU repulsed two attacks in the area north of Krynok. Loss of positions is not allowed. In other areas, the situation has not undergone significant changes.

Russia’s losses in Ukraine: the latest news

According to the latest data of the General Staff, since the beginning of the full-scale war, the Russian army of occupation has lost about 519 thousand 750 soldiers in Ukraine .

Among the large amount of destroyed equipment are 359 aircraft of various types and 326 helicopters. The occupiers also lost 28 ships and boats and one submarine.
