The occupiers struck a building in a residential area.
On Sunday evening, September 1, Russian invading forces attacked an educational institution in the city of Sumy . People were injured in the attack.
As reported on the Telegram channel of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, the Russians hit a building with a missile that houses a center for the social and psychological rehabilitation of children and an orphanage. The building itself is located in a residential area of the city.
“All necessary services are working on the scene. People are receiving medical assistance. The consequences of the enemy attack are being clarified. We will never forgive the enemy for his atrocities! He will answer for the tears of our children!” the military administration added.Video of the day

Shelling of Sumy region
As is known, the border area has been subject to systematic Russian shelling since the very beginning of the full-scale war.
This afternoon, the Sumy regional prosecutor’s office reported that yesterday Russian occupation forces attacked a column of grain trucks that were on the Sumy-Kharkov route with ballistics.
The attack killed a 23-year-old truck driver and injured four others. The shooting also set one truck on fire and damaged about 20 others.

Updated at 22:55 : Two children, aged seven and 13, were injured in the attack, Obshchestvennoye writes. The city council reported that there were no casualties, and four people were taken to hospital.
Updated at 23:55: The number of victims has risen to 13. Four people have been hospitalized, and the same number received medical care on the spot. Another five will be treated as outpatients.
