Russia refuses to accept US response to “security guarantees”

Russia will not accept the response of the United States of America to its proposed ” security guarantees “.

This was stated by Vladimir Dzhabarov, First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs, in a commentary to the Russian state agency RIA Novosti .

According to him, such a US response cannot satisfy the Russian authorities.

“Their answer cannot satisfy us, they have gathered everything together – their fantasies, claims. We will not accept such an answer,” Dzhabarov said.

As UNIAN reported, on December 17, 2021, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs published a draft  agreement between the Russian Federation and the United States on “security guarantees”  and a draft agreement on measures to ensure the security of Russia and NATO member states.

Today it became known that US Ambassador John Sullivan handed over to the Russian Foreign Ministry  a written response from Washington .

At the same time, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said that Washington would not publish his written response  to the Kremlin’s “security guarantees”, and also urged Russian diplomats not to do so.

    BTW, mafia land doesn’t need a security guarantee, but all the countries around do … from mafia land.

    • I suggested a few days ago that the US commit to vetoing any planned invasion by NATO into Russia. That’s what they are looking for, so they say. So give it to them! Forget their conditions but give them our conditions. I would suggest conferring with anyone here to set the conditions.
