According to Putin’s press secretary, Ukraine should be the one most interested in peace negotiations.
The Russian Federation is ready to negotiate with Ukraine regarding the war, including with President Volodymyr Zelensky. This was stated by the press secretary of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, Dmitry Peskov, Russian media reports .
He stressed that Russia considers Zelensky an “illegitimate” president, but Moscow is still ready for dialogue with him. In addition, Peskov called the Ukrainian president’s words about readiness for negotiations “empty”, since Zelensky himself allegedly banned negotiations.
Putin’s press secretary was also asked whether the Russian dictator considers Zelensky an enemy, to which he responded:
