In Russia, they said that in order to de-escalate the situation with possible aggression against Ukraine, official Kiev must allegedly fulfill a number of conditions.

They were voiced by Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, TASS reports .

“We are convinced that it is possible to achieve a de-escalation of the situation around Ukraine, about which our Western partners talk and write so much, can be achieved very quickly. To do this, they need to stop deliveries of weapons to Ukraine, recall Western military advisers, instructors from its territory, stop joint exercises of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and countries NATO. And also to withdraw all foreign weapons previously delivered to Kiev outside the Ukrainian territory,” Zakharova said.

She also called on Western diplomats to visit the occupied part of Donbass, whose inhabitants “have been suffering for many years.” Zakharova recalled a recent visit to the line of demarcation by foreign politicians, indignant that they did not come to the occupied Donetsk and Luhansk.

UNIAN has already applied to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry about the reaction to the statement of the speaker of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

The threat of a new Russian invasion

Since November 2021, Russia has concentrated more than 100,000 troops on the borders with Ukraine. The international community fears that the Kremlin will involve the army and equipment in a full-scale offensive.

With the new threat of Russian aggression in Eastern Europe, the US, Britain and the EU are working on tools to contain Putin’s intentions, in particular through the imposition of tough sanctions.

The United States and a number of European countries agreed to transfer military weapons to the Ukrainian army to protect the sovereignty of the state from a possible new Russian offensive.

  1. De-escalation?………………………….total surrender to Moscow.
All the just delivered goodies must be sent back, to start, according Maria the Hooker.

  2. Mickey you say it so precisely I don’t think any further words would add anything to your comment.

  3. “There is no reaction from the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry to Zakharova’s statement yet.”
    Good. Keep it that way.

  4. Keep delivering the weapons. Every day Ukraine gets stronger, and Putler can’t keep up these provocations forever, Muscovy doesn’t have the money.
