Russia is providing Iran with intelligence to counter American airstrikes and improve the accuracy of its own attacks.
This was reported by NBC News, citing U.S. and European officials.
The intelligence helps the Iranian military detect American forces during airstrikes and strengthen the defense of its own facilities.
This data also allows Iran to improve the accuracy of its own missiles and strike drones.
Previously, the countries signed an agreement on a strategic partnership in the field of defense and security.

It should be noted that Russia is also providing Iran with satellite imagery of the Persian Gulf region and U.S. military facilities located there.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky specified that on July 19–20 alone, Russian satellites photographed four air bases: two in Bahrain, one in Jordan, and another in Kuwait.
