⚡️ Russia is planning the same processes of looting and deindustrialization in the occupied territories of southern Ukraine as it carried out in the captured Donbas region.

The data is confirmed by the head of Ukrainian Intelligence, Oleh Ivashchenko, in a report to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

“The plans include geological exploration, rapid extraction, and the export of valuable raw materials from at least 18 deposits, specifically: titanium, lithium, tantalum, niobium, zircon, molybdenum, and graphite. The occupiers are also planning further measures to seize and export this year’s grain harvest. We are preparing to counter these actions,” the statement reads. 🔴 Be sure to subscribe to UATV English!

Russia Signals It Does Not Intend to End the War as Long as Ukraine Refuses to Leave Its Own Territory — CCD

Head of Ukraine’s Center for Countering Disinformation Andriy Kovalenko stated that Russia has effectively admitted it does not plan to end the war, reacting to new demands voiced by Kremlin aide Yury Ushakov.

According to Kovalenko, Ushakov openly confirmed that the Kremlin considers further negotiations between the United States, Ukraine, and Russia “inappropriate” unless Kyiv withdraws its troops from the Ukrainian-controlled part of Donbas.

“Russia has officially acknowledged through Ushakov that it has no intention of ending the war because Ukraine refuses to leave its own land,” Kovalenko said.

At the same time, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced what it called a “ceasefire” from midnight on May 8 until May 10, while simultaneously threatening retaliation in the event of attempts to disrupt the May 9 celebrations in Moscow, including the possibility of a massive strike on central Kyiv.

❗️ Ukraine has called on the international community to help save residents of the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson region from a humanitarian catastrophe.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the situation in Oleshky, Hola Prystan, Stara Zburivka, and Nova Zburivka is of particular concern.

According to the ministry, the occupiers are artificially restricting people’s movement and blocking the delivery of essential goods, food, and medicines to civilians, including children.

The population in these areas has dropped from about 40,000 to around 6,000, and in Oleshky from 24,000 to roughly 2,000.

Critical infrastructure has been destroyed, with no electricity or gas supply, and civilians are reportedly being targeted by drone attacks.

More than 220 evacuation requests have already been submitted to state authorities. The Foreign Ministry has begun consultations with the UN and the Red Cross and plans to raise the issue at UN and OSCE forums.

“We call on international partners to pressure Russia to comply with international humanitarian law and to create the necessary conditions and evacuation corridors for civilians,” the statement said.

Lubinets urges recognition of militarization of Ukrainian children in occupied territories as crime against humanity

Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets has called on the international community to recognize the militarization of Ukrainian children in territories temporarily occupied by Russia as a crime against humanity.

“On the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, this has been ongoing for years and remains unpunished. Tens of thousands of children are forced to grow up in a world of propaganda, fear, and imposed military narratives. What should be their fundamental right to education is being turned into a tool of aggression. Schools are becoming platforms for war preparation, while cadet classes cultivate obedience instead of children’s curiosity,” the Ombudsman said, noting that the militarization of education is affecting an increasing number of children.

According to Yale University, since February 2022 Ukrainian children have been transferred to at least 210 facilities in Russia and in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. In 62% of them, children are subjected to cultural, patriotic, and military propaganda, while in 19% they undergo military training, including combat drills, parades, and drone operation. This constitutes a gross violation of international humanitarian law and a crime against Ukrainian children.

Ukraine expects the first decisions on claims submitted by Ukrainians to the Register of Damage caused by Russian aggression to appear in 2027, — Iryna Mudra, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, who is responsible for holding Russia internationally accountable.

The official was asked when the first concrete decisions of the Compensation Commission — which is to award compensation based on claims from ordinary Ukrainians — could be expected.

“This will be in 2027. These are our expectations, although the process must go through several stages,” Mudra said.

She explained that this refers to the ratification process of the convention on the compensation commission by the states that signed it — 35 countries in total, as well as the European Union. The convention will officially enter into force after ratification by 25 states, with the first signatories already having completed this step.

Iryna Mudra: damage from the destruction of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant amounts to $14 billion, total losses of Ukraine exceed $1 trillion

The World Bank together with the European Commission estimated Ukraine’s losses from Russia’s destruction of the Kakhovka HPP dam at $14 billion, while the total damage to Ukraine, its citizens, and businesses likely already exceeds $1 trillion.

Mudra recalled that the losses from the destruction of the Kakhovka dam were assessed by the World Bank jointly with the European Commission at $14 billion.

She emphasized that this is not an estimate of reconstruction and does not necessarily mean the facility should be restored in its previous form.

“This works as follows: the state claims compensation for the loss of the Kakhovka HPP, takes the World Bank’s estimate and says: Ukraine suffered damage of $14 billion. But the final amount must be determined by a compensation commission, which will have its own methodology and assessors to define the sum. Of course, they will take into account the authoritative assessment of the European Commission and the World Bank,” Mudra explained.

  1. Total losses $1 trillion.
    Compensation : $1 trillion.
The process of collecting this money should commence immediately.
Stating with the $200 billion of putinaZi cash that is unjustifiably being held onto by Belgium.

  2. All ruZZians; except accredited democratic opposition, must IMMEDIATELY be banned from entering Europe or North America. Those already living there : kick them out.
All assets on those territories, including cash, property, businesses etc, should be seized, sold and the process of that lot must be sent to Ukraine.
