Moscow (RF) Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced on the night of Friday, January 24, that drones had attacked the Russian capital. Three Moscow airports suspended operations. Sobyanin wrote about this on Telegram.
Sobyanin also reported that two drones were allegedly shot down in the urban district of Podolsk (Moscow, – ed.).
In addition, Russian social media outlets, citing Rosaviatsia, reported the suspension of operations at Moscow airports Domodedovo, Zhukovsky, and Vnukovo.
Later, Sobyanin reported that drones had allegedly been shot down in the Troitsky administrative district of Moscow, as well as in the Shchyolkovo urban district.
In addition, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported drone attacks in a number of regions.
Russian air defense systems allegedly destroyed 49 drones. We are talking about Kursk, Bryansk, Belgorod regions and temporarily occupied Crimea.
Social networks also reported that drones attacked the Ryazan region, explosions thundered near the local oil depot “RNPK”. At least 10 drones were allegedly shot down over the oil depot. Russian publics reported a fire in the area of the thermal power plant and oil refinery in Ryazan after a drone attack.
The Governor of the Ryazan Region stated that the elimination of the consequences of the air attack continues.

Attacks on Russian facilities – latest news
Let us recall that on the night of January 21, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked several strategic facilities on Russian territory. For the second time in a week, the Liskinskaya oil depot in the Voronezh region was hit.
The Ukrainian military also struck the Smolensk aircraft plant. It specializes in the production and modernization of combat aircraft, in particular the Su-25.
As reported by Glavred, on the night of January 20, a series of explosions rolled across Kazan and the Ryazan region of Russia. Drones attacked the Dyagilevo airfield and the Kazan Aviation Plant, known for producing Tu-160 and Tu-22M3 strategic bombers.
