On the evening of March 4, the Russian army again launched a massive attack on Odessa and the Odessa region with attack UAVs. Fires and an injured person are already known.

As reported by a UNIAN correspondent, an air raid alarm was declared in the Odessa region in the evening. Monitoring channels reported that 17 attack drones were heading from the Black Sea to Odessa. A few minutes later, it was clarified that the “shahideen” had performed a strange maneuver – they turned around and headed in the opposite direction. However, they soon returned.

The head of the Odessa Regional Military Administration, Olen Kiper, asked residents of Odessa and the Odessa region to take shelter. Monitoring channels reported that about two dozen UAVs were moving in a “crowd” from the Black Sea towards the regional center, the cities of Chornomorsk, Yuzhnoye, and others. It later became known that a new batch of drones was heading from the sea to Odessa and its suburbs.

Powerful explosions were heard in different parts of the city, similar messages were made on the networks by residents of Chornomorsk. People also say that several fires broke out in Odessa and the suburbs. According to preliminary data, there are victims, in particular a man with shrapnel wounds.

People write that residential buildings are burning and ambulance sirens are heard, and in part of the city the power has gone out. Odessa Mayor Gennady Trukhanov later confirmed the information about the problems due to the Russian attack:

“The enemy has again struck critical infrastructure. Part of Odessa is again left without electricity, water and heat. All relevant services are working.”

According to Kiper, private houses in the suburbs of Odessa were damaged by the debris of the downed drones, and there are fires. The fires are currently being extinguished by the State Emergency Service units. Information about the victims of the drone attack is being clarified.

The occupiers also attacked the Belgorod-Dnestrovsky district of the Odessa region with ballistics. A missile hit an empty sanatorium, the building was almost completely destroyed.
