On the night of November 9, Russians attacked the Clear Energy thermal power plant in the Chernihiv region. The company’s founder, Andrey Grinenko, reported this on his Facebook page .
He shared that three Russian drones struck Ukraine’s first large biomass-fired thermal power plant overnight. The plant was built in 2016.
“It became a benchmark for the industry – the first large biomass power plant, proving to Ukraine that energy independence begins with local resources,” Grinenko wrote.
Fortunately, there were no casualties. However, the published images show damage to the power plant.
