Russia is preparing a big offensive: Dikiy assessed the pessimistic forecast

The expert recalled that Russia wants to mobilize an additional 300 thousand soldiers.

Military analyst and ATO veteran Evgeniy Dikiy considers August a realistic date for the launch of a major offensive by the aggressive forces of the Russian Federation with the aim of breaking through the Ukrainian front. He expressed his opinion on this matter on radio FM Galicia.

“The Russians are carrying out a new mobilization – 300 thousand. Why do you think they are doing this? Just to hold the front line? And they are holding it well now. They are already on the offensive. This means that they are going to turn the tide wars in their favor. They are going to advance further. And for this they do not have enough people who are now fighting,” Dikiy emphasized.

At the same time, he considers the forecast from Politico about the likelihood of a large offensive by Russian invaders in August to be realistic.

“Just not before. The fact is that the contingent that is advancing now is not capable of anything serious. Now it is doing the maximum. The Russians are squeezing the maximum possible out of it. And then, in fact, the front is essentially “It’s gradually sagging. They’re crawling forward. They’re crawling 100 meters a day, but they’re crawling all this time,” the expert said.

He recalled that Avdiivka had already been lost and believes that fighting could soon begin within the village of Chasov Yar.

“They are crawling, but breaking through the front and making any big breakthroughs is clearly not possible with this contingent,” Dikiy added.

According to him, the Russians held back the new mobilization while the so-called elections of Vladimir Putin took place.

He added that the mobilization cycle takes about 4-5 months.

“Just in August, these 300 thousand new “shits” will be ready to join the war. And Politico’s forecast that in August they are preparing a big offensive, and in the meantime, we return to the fact that our mobilization is not happening, and one logical one arises The question is: who will actually fight off their big offensive? And so we come to the conclusion that, perhaps, Politico’s pessimistic forecast is absolutely correct,” Diky said.

In his opinion, these 300 thousand newly mobilized will attack with “meat” assaults in order to break through the front.
