Russia is not attacking Kyiv while Kellogg is there: expert draws attention to a worrying nuance

There are no strikes now, and that’s good, but there are two sides to the coin, the columnist noted.

The fact that the Russians are not firing Shahed missiles at Kyiv while US President’s special representative Keith Kellogg is there is also a negative aspect, military observer Denis Popovych believes. He said this on Radio NV .

“The Russians stopped hitting Kyiv so as not to give Kellogg another reason to strike. But there are two sides to the coin. There are no strikes now. Kellogg will leave, it will happen in the coming days, and during this period the Russians are accumulating drones,” the expert noted.

He suggested that after the US President’s special representative leaves Kyiv, the Russians may strike with more drones that they have time to accumulate.

“Of course, it’s very good that there are calm days, and let’s hope that tonight will be calm too. But the accumulation continues,” Popovych noted. Read also:

He recalled that the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported that Russia can produce 170 “Shaheeds” per day, so we can calculate “how many they will have time to rivet” during this period.
