The Kremlin is preparing to “give back” on the issue of seizing the Ukrainian peninsula of Crimea . They plan to find out its meaning for the Russians with the help of a “secret poll”.

Political strategist Mikhail Sheitelman spoke about this, Channel 24 reports .

According to the expert, the “secret survey” is being prepared by order of the Russian leadership.

“Its topic is ‘Are the Russians ready to give up Crimea?’. Our intelligence became aware of it,” Sheitelman said.

He added that the poll will be conducted in the narrative that if Ukraine can liberate Crimea, “is it necessary to continue the war with Ukraine to return the peninsula”:

“They proceed from the fact that this is already a reality, that this can happen, and then what should they do.”

According to the expert, the Kremlin still does not know how to properly end the war against Ukraine, and the Russian leadership is studying all possible scenarios.
