Retired American General Keith Kellogg has reacted to the nighttime attack by Russian terrorists on the government quarter of Kyiv. He warned that such strikes carry the risk of further escalation and show that the Kremlin is not seeking peace.
Former US National Security Advisor Kellogg wrote on the X network that he met with Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svirydenko just two weeks ago at the Cabinet of Ministers building. According to him, the night attack was the largest during the war and is a signal that Russia is on a path of escalation.
“History shows that such actions can lead to an escalation of events that spiral out of control. That is why President Trump is working to end this war,” he noted.

Svyridenko confirmed in her post X that a Russian missile hit the government building where her team works every day. She emphasized that, despite the destruction, the work of the Cabinet of Ministers continues, and people’s lives are incomparably more valuable than walls. The minister reported that four civilians were killed and 44 others were injured during the night attack.
Reaction of the Ukrainian authorities
Earlier, Svyridenko called on world governments to turn outrage over Russian crimes into concrete actions – primarily strengthening air defenses and new sanctions against Russia. She emphasized that protection is needed not only for government buildings, but also for people in cities and villages across the country.
“The walls can be repaired, they are just bricks, but the lives of our people cannot be brought back. As a result of the Russian attack tonight, 4 people were killed and 44 were injured. It is clear that Russia does not want peace,” she wrote.
The biggest attack on Kyiv
According to Ukrainian authorities, September 7 was one of the most powerful attacks on the capital since the start of the full-scale invasion. In Kyiv, significant destruction was recorded in the government quarter, damaged buildings and infrastructure. Medics worked all night to provide assistance to the injured.
Crimea, on the night of September 7, the Russian terrorist army massively attacked Kremenchuk. After a series of explosions, electricity went out in part of the city. The occupiers attacked the city with dozens of kamikaze drones.
As OBOZ.UA reported, on the evening of September 6, the aggressor country Russia launched another attack on Ukraine using strike UAVs. The enemy launched dozens of “Shaheeds” and imitation drones from several directions, more than 100 UAVs were simultaneously recorded in the air. The enemy also launched ballistic strikes.

“Russia is escalating the situation”
No duh!
Let’s put it this way, mafia land has been escalating since taco took office. We have September now. That means we’ve seen one escalation after another for 7 months.
The increase in civilians being killed since TACO took office has gone through the roof. It’s no coincidence, and TACO is fully responsible for this. I have no doubt that he is in collusion with putler, and has given him the go-ahead to make Ukraine capitulate by attacking innocent civilians. You only need to look at the reaction of Vance when asked if it was a war crime when the US blew up that ship, to know the WH cares little about human life.
This administration is run by a gangster, so of course its members are also crooks.
“History shows that such actions can lead to an escalation of events that spiral out of control. That is why President Trump is working to end this war,”
Cut the crap Kellogg. TACO is doing nothing whatsoever except being led by the nose by his hero.
I wish his daughter was leading the cause. Otherwise it’s completely useless.
His boss is still taco, so either way it’s useless.
Good point
