I am sick to death of the “Ukraine isn’t in NATO!” bullshit argument.

1. Not NATO =/= Cannot support
2. Ukraine is a founding member of the United Nations. Article 51 of the UN Charter provides for the right to individual or COLLECTIVE self-defence if an armed attack occurs against a Member.
3. Russia is committing genocide in Ukraine. Under the UN Genocide Convention, members have an obligation to prevent and punish genocide
4. Budapest Memorandum

The tools are there. Will to use them is the issue. Shooting down Russian drones in Poland shows fear of confrontation isn’t.

Ukraine is part of the European continent… If France is protecting the “European continent” then extend that protection to Ukraine. That, or have the courage to admit that in the eyes of France, Ukrainians simply don’t merit the protection and support they need and deserve.

So, if the drones and missiles pose a threat to Poles, they get shot down, but if they are going to kill Ukrainians and destroy Ukrainian infrastructure, just let them fly on. That’s the message. F&ck Ukrainians – they aren’t in the protection club that we won’t let them join.
