Throughout the day, the transportation of tanks, trucks and personnel of the RF Armed Forces from Belarusian training grounds has been recorded.

Russia has begun transferring equipment to the south of Belarus , which was previously brought to the training grounds with the mobilized RF Armed Forces.

On December 20, around 5 am, a train with military equipment of the RF Armed Forces departed from the Polonka railway station, which was stationed at the Obuz-Lesnovsky training ground (Baranovichi district, Brest region), reports the monitoring group  Belaruska Gayun .

During the day, the train passed: Bereza, Zhabinka, Drogichin, Ivanovo and arrived in Luninets (Brest region, Belarus). On the platforms: 23 T-80 tanks, 8 fuel trucks, 9 trucks (Urals and KamAZ trucks), 2 passenger and 7 freight cars.VIDEO OF THE DAYplay video

In addition, on December 19, at the Zaslonovo railway station (Vitebsk region), more than 20 tanks and about 16 Urals of the RF Armed Forces were loaded onto platforms, which were located at the Lepelsky training ground. Later, the train headed towards Orsha and left for Osipovichi. His destination, tentatively, is Slutsk (Minsk region), which is also much closer to the border with Ukraine. 

It is also known about the transfer of the 3rd echelon with equipment of the RF Armed Forces. On the morning of December 20, a train passed through Shklov (Mogilev region) with: 20 BMP-2, 3 fuel trucks, 7 Urals, a Mobile Control Center Svyaznoy (MPUS-K) based on KamAZ, 4 passenger cars of Russian Railways and 3 freight cars. He proceeded through: Orsha, Mogilev and Zhlobin. As a result, he arrived in Kalinkovichi (Gomel region). He may continue moving further south. 

“Currently, there is a fork in the road. Either the equipment of the RF Armed Forces from the training grounds in the northern and central parts of the country is being transported to the border area. Or the equipment is being transported to the next joint exercises of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus and the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation somewhere near the border with Ukraine,” the statement said.

They also noted that the amount of equipment that is now being transferred to the border area is small and definitely not enough for any offensive actions.

Possible offensive from Belarus: what is known

On December 19, for the first time since 2019, Russian dictator Putin paid a visit to Minsk . Also with him came Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba said that at the meeting between the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and the self-proclaimed head of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko , decisions critical for Ukraine were not made .

Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko  said that the S-400 and Iskander systems transferred by Russia were on combat duty.
