Russia hits Ukrainian energy sector on New Year’s Eve: three regions are partially without power.

A significant number of consumers in the Volyn, Odessa and Chernihiv regions were without power.

As a result of shelling by Russian invaders on the first day of the new year, many consumers in three regions were left without power.

As the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy reported on Telegram , the enemy launched a drone attack on energy facilities in several regions of Ukraine overnight.

“This morning, a significant number of consumers in the Volyn and Odesa regions were without power, and there are also new power outages in the Chernihiv region,” the statement said.

At the same time, it is noted that emergency recovery operations are continuing, and power engineers are working to restore power supply as quickly as possible.
