Russia hits Krivoy Rog on day of mourning: there are casualties

There are currently five known victims.

Russian occupiers struck Krivoy Rog today, damaging infrastructure and causing casualties, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk OVA Serhiy Lysak reported .

“When Krivoy Rog is in mourning, the enemy attacks again. And once again, it is targeting civilians. Three victims are currently known. Infrastructure and cars are damaged in the city. There was also a fire,” Lysak noted.

Later he reported that the number of victims had increased to five. Among them were four men – 29, 41, 44 and 60 years old. They had shrapnel wounds, bruises, and acubar injuries. All were in hospital in moderate condition.

“A 54-year-old woman was also injured. She will recover at home,” the official emphasized.

The information about the strike was also commented on by the Chairman of the City Defense Council, Oleksandr Vilkul. He added that the enemy had struck Krivoy Rog with a missile.

“A missile strike on a civilian infrastructure facility. Ambulances took four people to the hospital. All emergency and utility services are working,” Vilkul said.

According to him, many apartment buildings were damaged as a result of the strike. A city headquarters has been set up to help residents.
