On Saturday morning, January 18, Russia attacked the center of Zaporizhia with ballistic missiles. The attack caused destruction, damaged buildings, and injured people, said Ivan Fedorov, chairman of the Zaporizhia Regional State Administration.
“The enemy struck the center of the regional center. The administrative building of one of the industrial facilities was partially destroyed. Residential buildings and private transport were damaged,” Fedorov reported.
Updated 9.20. Fedorov reported that the number of wounded has increased to 10. Two injured medics provided assistance at the site of the missile strike. Another 8 people were hospitalized – they are from 28 to 69 years old. A 48-year-old woman is in serious condition.
Updated 8.50 . At first, Fedorov reported that 6 people were injured, but later the National Police reported that the number of injured had increased to 8 people. Two more people are considered missing.
“One woman is in serious condition. Another two women and three men are in moderate condition. All the victims are in hospital. Doctors are providing the necessary assistance,” Fedorov said.
