The Russian government is hinting on the incorporation of Belarus in exchange for the common price for energy carriers. Aleksandr Lukashenko, the Belarusian leader said so during the meeting with Svetlogorsk cardboard mill workers. Belta, the Belarusian outlet reported that on February 14.
According to him, the Russian leadership treats the idea of integration as the incorporation of Belarus.
“It’s not integration. It’s incorporation. I will never agree on it”, the Belarusian leader said.
He also added that the Belarusian people would never walk this path. Lukashenko claimed that after his presidency is over, he will continue to stand for the sovereignty of Belarus, but Minsk and Moscow will carry on in terms of integration road maps. “There’s nothing bad about it”, Lukashenko said.
Previously, the Belarusian president stated it was impossible that his country would join the composition of the Russian Federation.
In December, activists held rallies in Minsk and Kyiv, protesting against the Russia-initiated incorporation of Belarus.

‘Lukashenko claimed that after his presidency is over, he will continue to stand for the sovereignty of Belarus, but Minsk and Moscow will carry on in terms of integration road maps.’
WTF?! It’s like saying ‘I’ll never become your wife… let’s carry on planning our wedding.’
LOL, Happy Valentine’s Day, right?!
LMAO!
As I understand Lukashenko’s mindset, such clouded talk should merely keep the raunchy little rat in Moscow befuddled. It’s been working very well, seeing that Lukashenko’s wit is heads above the dwarf’s (pun intended).
“’It’s not integration. It’s incorporation. I will never agree on it’, the Belarusian leader said.”
“…but Minsk and Moscow will carry on in terms of integration road maps. ‘There’s nothing bad about it’, Lukashenko said.”
I can picture the confusion in the pointed face of the raunchy Moscow rat and I think that this is the whole purpose for Luka’s statements.
Lukashenko is a master of playing both sides of the fence.
An old saying ; When you straddle a fence , you can be kicked in the ass from both sides.
