Russia has seriously changed its nuclear doctrine: Zhorin explained the Kremlin’s actions

The Russians can afford such blackmail thanks to the West’s position, the military man believes.

Russia has changed its nuclear doctrine and can now attack non-nuclear countries because of launched drones. Deputy Commander of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major Maksym Zhorin, commented on these innovations.

“The changes to the Russian ‘nuclear doctrine’ are pure blackmail, which the Russians can afford thanks to the West’s position,”  he said on his Telegram channel.

The major noted that the Russian Federation continues to make threats and believes that it has the right to do so “precisely because of the weakness of our allies.” According to him, the West allows the Russian Federation to become more and more impudent.

“Russia continues to threaten, and believes that it has the right to do so precisely because of the weakness of our allies. If they were more decisive, Russian terrorists would be afraid to dictate their terms. The West allows them to be more brazen every day,” the military man writes.

At the same time, Zhorin doubts that the Russians really intend to use nuclear weapons against Ukraine in the near future. With this step, the Russian Federation may pursue another goal.

“These statements were made before the meeting where they will decide on the possibility of using long-range weapons – in order to influence this decision not in our favor. And Russia, even without nuclear weapons, has enough weapons to destroy our energy and infrastructure,” stated Maxim Zhorin. Russia has changed its nuclear doctrine

On September 25, it became known that Russia amended its nuclear deterrence doctrine. Now Moscow can launch a nuclear strike on a non-nuclear state even by launching drones.

In addition, the Russian Federation may use nuclear weapons in the event of aggression against Belarus, as well as if the enemy, using conventional non-nuclear weapons, creates a critical threat to Russian sovereignty.

In addition, Putin stated that from now on, aggression against Russia by any non-nuclear state, but with the participation or support of a nuclear state, is considered as their joint attack on the Russian Federation.

It is noteworthy that although Ukraine was not mentioned in the Russian dictator’s statements, the changes in the doctrine are clearly tailored to the current situation in the Russian-Ukrainian war.

  1. All this blackmail and rhetoric from the war criminal shows that the mafia state is close to collapsing in a heap. Not even Brezhnev or Gorbachov who had 15,000 nukes, ever threatened to use them in Afghanistan. Of course a response from the West along the lines of, “launch one nuke and you’re history,” would be welcome, instead of the crap coming out of the US, who have more operational nukes than mafia land.
