The Federal Agency for Sea and River Transport (Rosmorrechflot) has suspended the publication of statistics on the turnover of seaports in Russia.

This was reported by the agency in response to a request for reasons for the delay in publishing data for March, according to Interfax .

“The temporary suspension of the publication of statistics on the cargo turnover of Russian seaports on the Rosmorrechflot website is aimed at reducing additional potential risks that such information poses to the industry community in the current conditions,” the agency said.

Rosmorrechflot added that all necessary data were provided to the statistical accounting bodies in a timely manner.

Rosmorrechflot traditionally disclosed data on cargo turnover in the middle of the second week of the month following the reporting month. In April, these statistics were not released.
