A toy replica of the Iranian Shahed drone, which Russia actively uses in attacks on Ukraine , is being sold to children on a Russian e-commerce website, CBS News reports  .

It’s worth noting that on the website Ozon, often referred to as the Russian Amazon, this small foam drone is being sold as a replica of the Gerani-2 (the Russian designation for the Iranian Shahed drone). The description states that the product is “suitable for children aged 6 and up” and claims it develops “coordination, precision, and imagination.” It’s also described as “the perfect gift for young patriots and future conquerors of the skies.”

Remarkably, the toy, which sells for 350 Russian rubles (about 180 hryvnia), can be equipped with firecrackers on the tip that explode on impact, simulating how real Shahed drones fly toward their target and explode on impact.

All reviews of the product featured on the website are positive. One commenter wrote:

“Cool toy, my son is delighted, I also ordered more fireworks.”

Another commenter noted that it was “a great toy and looks just like the real thing.”

It is noted that Russia is not the only country selling toy replicas of combat drones: a wide range of other models are available on e-commerce sites around the world.
